Animal parks, zoos and educational farms are among children’s favorite outings. When it comes to animals, they’re always up for it!
At the 4 Chênes campsite, in the heart of the Basque Country, we offer them the chance to spend their entire vacation close to the animals, who live in a reserved area of over two hectares!
At our campsite with mini-farm near Bayonne, every morning is a chance to cuddle a fur ball, greet a friendly feathered animal or feed the animals.
Donkeys, llamas, goats, rabbits, dogs, etc., impatiently await their daily passage. A pleasant ritual before starting the day! Although children can only enjoy the mini-farm outdoors, in summer your little ones are allowed to venture into the campsite’s rabbit area !
With donkeys, goats or llamas, you learn to observe, to be patient, to cuddle without rushing. A real littleschool of life!
Animals on the mini-farm
When you arrive at the Ferme des 4 Chênes campsite, you’ll quickly get to know our mascot dog, Scott. He’ll give you his usual friendly welcome.
Then head to the mini-farm to meet our other guests!
On two hectares of farmland entirely reserved for them, you’ll get to know a host of animals. First of all, our four friendly donkeys, greedy and eager to be petted. Take a good look at them! Each one has its own personality. Three goats will amuse you with their playfulness and mischievousness. They, too, will appreciate being petted and touched.
Our mini-farm in the Basque Country is home to more exotic animals. Two llamas in particular are present on the site: fascinating animals to observe! Not far from the campsite, you’ll meet the rhea, also known as the American ostrich. Its facetiousness is irresistible: laughter guaranteed!
For a moment of tenderness, head for therabbit area, open in summer to the delight of children.
